The choice of an expert is as much an "art" as the selection of jurors itself. Unlike jurors, whom an attorney meets for the first time in the courtroom, an expert has a "history" of past cases on which he has served, and the hiring attorney has the luxury of time to interview the expert and get input from others who have used him.
